Account Settings

You can manage and update your account information, such as your email address, password, and notification preferences in this section of your Onit app.

PERSONAL DETAILS
You can view and edit your personal information, including your name, address, and phone number in this section. If you need to update or edit your personal details on Onit, follow these simple steps:
  1. Open the app and click the Settings option.
  2. Click on the Personal Details option.
  3. You will see your current details such as name and phone number.
  4. To edit or add any of the details, click on it.
  5. Make the necessary changes and click Done.
  6. Your updated details will be saved and reflected in your account.

It is important to keep your personal details up-to-date to ensure the security and accuracy of your account information.

SECURITY SETTINGS 
This is where you can manage the security of your Onit account to ensure that your personal and financial information is protected. You can change your password, PIN or security questions and also turn on Face and Fingerprint unlock.

Do not share your password, PIN or security questions with anyone. If you suspect your account has been compromised, log in and change your security settings immediately or reach out to us for help.

Read below for steps to change your security settings.

Change Password

To change your Password follow the steps below:

  1. Open the app and click the Settings option.
  2. Select Security Settings.
  3. Select the Change Password.
  4. Enter a new Password.
  5. Confirm the new password by entering it again in the next field.
  6. Click Change to save your new password.
Change PIN

To change your PIN follow the steps below:

  1. Open the app and click the Settings option.
  2. Select Security Settings.
  3. Select the Change PIN.
  4. Enter your Current PIN. If you have forgotten it, you will be prompted to enter our Password.
  5. Enter a new PIN.
  6. Confirm the new PIN by entering it again in the next field.
  7. Click Confirm to save your new PIN.

Change Security Questions

To change your Security Questions follow the steps below:

  1. Open the app and click the Settings option.
  2. Select Security Settings.
  3. Select Change Security Questions.
  4. Enter your PIN.
  5. Select New Security Question from the drop-down menu.
  6. Enter the Answer to the question.
  7. Save the changes by clicking Done.

NOTIFICATIONS
You can choose to receive notifications via email, push notifications, SMS notifications or all three. Keeping your notifications on can help you stay informed about your account activity and ensure that you can take action quickly if necessary.
