Can you send money to a user who is not on Onit?

Yes, you can send money to someone who is not currently using Onit. Here are two ways to do it:
  1. Invite them to join Onit: You can invite the recipient to join Onit. They will receive a message from us with an invitation to download the app. Once they have the app, they can easily receive money from you and enjoy the benefits of Onit. 
  2. Send money to their M-Pesa account: If the recipient prefers not to join Onit, you can still send them money by using their M-Pesa account. Simply provide us with their M-Pesa details, and we will facilitate the transfer.
We offer these options to ensure you can conveniently send money to anyone, regardless of whether they are an Onit user or not.
