Top Up Onit Account

You can top up your Onit balance right from your home screen using two methods:

  1. M-PESA push notification 
  2. Deposit via Onit's M-PESA Paybill
M-pesa push notification

The first way to top up via M-PESA is by receiving a prompt to the phone number you used to sign up for Onit. Follow the steps below:

  1. Select Top Up Account on your home screen menu.
  2. Select M-PESA push notification on the next screen.
  3. Enter the amount you would like to top up and click Next.
  4. You will get an M-PESA prompt to pay the amount to ________. Enter your M-PESA PIN and click Send.
  5. Click Done on the Onit screen.
  6. Your account balance should automatically reflect the new amount instantly. Now you can start sending money for free!

Deposit via Onit's M-PESA Paybill

The second way you can top up via M-PESA is by sending money to our Paybill number. Follow the steps below:

  1. Select Top Up Account on your home screen menu.
  2. Select M-PESA Paybill on the next screen.
  3. Follow the instructions on the pop-up.
    • Copy the M-PESA Paybill number to make it easier for you to pay.
    • The account number is the phone number associated with your Onit account.
  4. Your account balance should automatically reflect the new amount instantly. Now you can start sending money for free!
